She published a critical paper in the journal of periodontology entitled “association between sleep and severe periodontitis in a nationally representative adult US population.” She’s here to tell us about the influence sleep has on periodontal disease as well as the immune system. You’ll gain a better understanding for how the immune system functions in relation to periodontal disease. About the Speakers

Dr. Hend Alqaderi gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at Alexandria University, Egypt. She then completed an Advanced General Dentistry Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland in 2008. In 2016, she gained a Doctoral Degree in Medical Science and a Certificate in Dental Public Health from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA.
