About This Course
You will earn 1.5 hours of CE.
Part one features Dr. Manali Vora, B.D.S., MPH. Content from this lesson was derived from the cover story of the March 2019 issue of the Journal of the American Dental Association which Dr. Vora authored. In this episode Dr. Vora will discuss tobacco-use patterns and self-reported oral health outcomes. She will discuss different delivery systems available for tobacco consumption and the ramifications those systems have on the periodontium. Part two features prolific researcher and Harvard professor, Dr. Hend Alqaderi. She published a critical paper in the journal of periodontology entitled “association between sleep and severe periodontitis in a nationally representative adult US population.” She’s here to tell us about the influence sleep has on periodontal disease as well as the immune system. You’ll gain a better understanding for how the immune system functions in relation to periodontal disease. In this course, you will take a quiz per each episode of the dental digest podcast and then obtain CE credit. To read more about our refund/cancellation policy click here. To contact us click here.
